The main directorates of SERMIG report to the National Directorate. The directorates are: Operaciones, Gestión de Datos, Territorio e Inclusión, Administración y Finanzas, Jurídica, Fiscalización y expulsiones, and the Regional Directorates. Each one of them is in charge of different departments and units.
